NZAM UPGRADES TO ULTRACAMXP
NZAM has upgraded one of its UltracamX digital cameras to Microsoft Vexcel’s technically superior camera system, the UltraCamXp. Currently the largest format available at 196 megapixels, at a flying height of 500m the sensor’s capable of achieving 2.9cm pixels!
The increased storage of 4.2 terabytes means more time in the air allowing the crew to take better advantage of clear flying conditions, and as did its predecessors, the UCXp will capture panchromatic, colour (RGB) and near-infrared bands concurrently.
